 Ethical Horse And Rider Training

Picture
Freelancer, Sarah Overington, British Horse Society Accredited Professional Coach
Intermediate Instructor and Accredited Biomechanics Coach.

I offer training based on a system of morally correct principles. These clearly distinguish between right and wrong, in which the horse finds it easy to learn and understand. This results in progressive training and happy horses.
What is Ethical Training?

I combine my ethical training of the horse with considerable emphasis on how the rider actually rides. I focus on how the rider can organise themselves so that they can positively influence,  aid (request/cue) and communicate effectively. This efficiently develops and builds on a firm foundation from which their partnership can grow in any direction they wish, whether that is affiliated competitions or enjoying a safer way to hack out and everything inbetween.
What ARE RIDER BIOMECHANICS?

I consider myself to be very fortunate to have the opportunity to be with horses on a daily basis, to relish my work and have the chance to be with other people and their horses in the way that I do.

I hope to convey my ethical horse and rider training through this website.
