Video Feedback

Video playback is a beneficial way to increase one's learning because it uses one's visual sense rather than relying solely on one's perception of what one thinks one is doing.  (The camera never lies springs to mind!).  If you are fortunate to have arena mirrors that helps, but it is only a snapshot.

If you have access to equipment that can record your riding or your groundwork sessions and a willing helper to do this for you, I can provide either a written analysis of the footage or a verbal one.  I can write an explaination, or talk through, ways to address issues or improve upon what is presented.  Although this approach doesn't allow any hands on feedback or the use of resistances, it can be a useful option if you are perhaps based on a yard that doesn't permit visiting coaches and you don't have transport to another venue.

If you are unable to have lessons as regularly as you might wish to do so this can work as a 'top-up' or a 'refresh' on a particular issue.  It is also a way to provide me with your progress and I can give you further ideas to work on so that you can progress towards your goals.

The video footage would need to be as clear as possible so that I can view it easily.  There is a charge for this service and I would aim to respond to your footage within 48 hours.
